3 Part Breath is a pranayama technique that involves a connected inhale starting in the low belly, moving up toward the diaphragm/rib cage, and upper chest, with an exhale that happens in reverse (upper chest, diaphragm, low belly). This practice is wonderful for when you need to slow down, are feeling a bit stressed or anxious, and can also help you fall asleep faster. As always, please be mindful of whether or not this pranayama practice is suitable for you.
