Bhramari

Bhramari Pranayama (or Humming Bee Breath) is designed to bring your awareness inward by closing your sense of sight and sound with the Shanmukhi mudra (plugging the ears and covering the eyes) and filling the inner world with soft humming sound. You can opt to just plug the ears if the Shanmukhi mudra feels too complicated or overwhelming. This pranayama is perfect to practice for days that you're feeling overstimulated or if you're just looking to tap deeper into your inner wisdom. As always, please be mindful of whether or not this breath practice is suitable for you.
