Box Breathing

Box Breathing is a form of counted breathing that is helpful for cultivating focus, inner awareness, and balance. You can tailor the length of the count to your needs; in this video, we practice both a 4-count and a 6-count. Box Breathing is an even count of inhaling, retaining the breath at the top of the inhale, exhaling, and retaining the exhale. Please note that breath retention may not be suitable for you; if so, please refrain from this practice.
